Application Error when editing Login ID for existing user

When we edit the login ID for an existing user we may receive an Application Error.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

The error we should see is "Important Notice! This login id has already been reserved by another eTapestry user.". This indicates that another eTapestry user (perhaps at another organization) is using that Login ID. We will need to click the Back button and change the Login ID to something else.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Search for and click on a user accuont
  2. Click Preferences
  3. Edit the Login ID to something being used by another user
  4. Click Save And
  5. Receive Application Error
