"Please wait. Your transaction is in progress." Unable to bypass this message to submit online form.

When attempting to submit an online DIY form, the following message appears every time you click Submit:

"Please wait. Your transaction is in progress."

This message continues to appear indefinitely no matter how much time is given for processing.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article once we have more information.

This issue is only affecting mobile devices, and only appears if the initial donation fails and the donor navigates back to the form using the 'click here' link within the failure message. If all information on the form is filled out correctly initially, the submission should process without an issue.

If a donor is receiving this message, have them refresh the page within their browser, which loads the blank form again. They will need to fill in all of their information again (name, address, etc...), but they can then submit the form without any issues.

 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Open the DIY form on a mobile device
  2. Fill out the form, but enter invalid credit card information (so the transaction fails initially)
  3. Click Submit
  4. A message indicating the credit card information was invalid will appear. Click the link to navigate back to the form
  5. Fill out the credit card information again (using valid or invalid information this time)
  6. Click Submit
  7. The "Please wait. Your transaction is in progress." message will now appear
