As users approach their deadline to reset their passwords in GIFTS Online, the system will prompt them before the deadline is up to change the password. Some users recently have reported that, when changing the password, they attempt to log into GIFTS Online once more and receive an Exception Error pop-up message upon doing so.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information. In the meantime: if your newly created password contains bracket characters such as < or >, the password will cause an error to throw and you will not be able to log in.
The easiest way past this is to prompt the system to help reset your password by clicking 'Forgot Password?', which will guide you through the steps to get back into GIFTS Online.
