Web View Custom Field dates displays one day earlier than entered

When entering a date on a Custom Field in The Raiser's Edge NXT Web View, the date saves as one day before. But in the Database View, the dates save as normal for attributes.

In the Web View, this occurs for the Value (if the custom field/attribute is set up as a Date) or for the Date (the custom field/attribute date). The dates as saved in the Web View sync correctly to the Database View.

For example, if the date is entered as the 6/28/2017, then the date will save as 6/27/2017. This occurs whether the date is typed in or if the date is chosen on the field's calendar. 2nd of May, it will show as the 1st of May after saving.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article with any updates.

If this is observed in the Web View, enter dates as the next day so it will save to the desired date. The displayed date is what will sync to the Database View. Attributes entered and edited in the Database View are not affected.

Steps to Duplicate

In The Raiser's Edge NXT Web View for a Gift record or Action record:
  1. Open a gift or action record. (Note: Open an existing action. Custom fields entered as part of a new action record are not affected.)
  2. Click Add Custom Field.
  3. Select any category and enter a value.
  4. Enter today's date.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The custom field will save, but date will appear as yesterday's. This can also occur if the custom field value is formatted to be a date.
