This requires three pieces to be setup and in place.

Part 1 - In FIMS
  1. Log into FIMS and from the menu - Tools > System Utilities > Dashboard Management
  2. Under the "Use Dashboards Offline" section, check all three boxes.
  3. Under the "Refresh Schedule" section, click on the drop-down field and select "Separate of DonorCentral"
  4. Click ok to save and close
  5. Close out of FIMS
Part 2 - fimsnt.ini (configuration file)
  1. Navigate to the location of the npo directory - npo\found\ConfigFiles
  2. Open the file "fimsnt.ini" in notepad
  3. Add the following line at the bottom of the [Database] section if not already there:
eAdvisor=C:\npo\found\dbfiles\found -N TCP -S 2500 -H {server's hostname}         - Note have to put in the server's hostname and you may have to adjust the database path
  1. File > Save and File > Exit
Part 3 - Creating the Scheduled Task
  1. Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler
  2. Create Task
  3. Give it a name that identifies the task like FIMS Dashboard Refresh
  4. Select "Run whether user is logged on or not"
  5. Check the "Run with highest privileges
  6. Click on the Triggers tab and click new button
  7. Setup the time that it should run - preferably at night when no other tasks for FIMS are running.  note the other FIMS tasks and make adjustments as necessary.
  8. Click on the actions tab and click new button
  9. For the Program/script field enter: "C:\NPO\dlc\bin\prowin32.exe"      -adjust path and drive letter as necessary
  10. For the Add arguments field enter: "-p gui\dashboards\refresh.p -ini c:\npo\found\configfiles\fimsnt.ini"      -adjust path and drive letter as necessary
  11. For the Start in field enter: C:\npo\found\fims       -adjust path and drive letter as necessary
  12. Click ok
  13. Click ok
  14. It will ask for the Windows user password - have the user/client enter this information
  15. Done
