In a gift batch, when I select Split Gift from the tool bar, no window opens. When I click the Split Gift icon in the batch, the window opens normally.

This can occur if the name given to the Gift field in Config > Business Rules > Gift Options > General Options > Gift Long Description has more than 4 characters.
Instead, use the Split Gift icon in the batch to access Split Gift information if a longer Long Description is needed for gifts.
