To add Reason Code:
  1. Navigate to Administration> Reason Code (this can also be found within Revenue> Reason Code OR Constituent> Reason Code OR Membership> Reason Code)
  2. Select the Constituent, Revenue or Membership tab
  3. Click Add

To delete Reason Code:
  1. Navigate to Administration> Reason Code
  2. Select the Constituent, Revenue or Membership tab
  3. Next to Reason code, click drop down
  4. Click Delete

Note: You cannot delete a reason code when it is assigned to a change. If you do not plan to use it in the future, you can instead mark it as inactive. After you mark a reason code as inactive, you can mark it as active again to resume its use.

To mark as inactive:
  1. Navigate to Administration> Reason Code (this can also be found within Revenue> Reason Code AND Membership> Reason Code)
  2. Select the Constituent, Revenue or Membership tab
  3. Next to Reason code, click drop down
  4. Click Mark inactive
