I can’t log into the database because it’s in single-user mode when I'm in the Procedure Editor.

This is a situation that may occur when running through a FIMS upgrade.  In the Procedure Editor, typing in “RUN system\d-dbpick” and hitting F1.  Then selecting the database and clicking Select.  An error saying that it can’t log into the database because it’s in single-user mode.
You're running in a single-user configuration and can ignore this error.  When you click OK, it will not ask for a username or password.  That's expected as well.  Just continue on normally.
