BBDW.DIM_CONSTITUENT.CONSTITUENTADDRESSDIMID is updated in the Blackbaud Datawarehouse

When a primary address is changed on a constituent record the BBDW.DIM_CONSTITUENT.CONSTITUENTADDRESSDIMID is updated in the warehouse, but the associated CONSTITUENTADDRESSDETAILDIMID still references the previous address on the nightly incremental BBDW process.
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future release.
 

Steps to Duplicate


1. Navigate to a constituents record. 
2. Select the contact tab.
3. Create a new Address and under the Address sub-tab mark the address as primary.
4. Click the Details sub-tab and enter a County, Region and Congressional district. 
5. Click Save.
6. Navigate to Administration > Data Warehouse > Click Start the ETL refresh. 
7. Once the ETL refresh complete, Navigate back to the constituents records from Step 1.
8. From SSMS, query on the BBDW using the following SQL script.
 
SELECT
  C.CONSTITUENTADDRESSDIMID,
  C.CONSTITUENTADDRESSDETAILDIMID,
  D.*
FROM BBDW.DIM_CONSTITUENT C
JOIN bbdw.DIM_CONSTITUENTADDRESSDETAIL D
  ON D.CONSTITUENTADDRESSDETAILDIMID = C.CONSTITUENTADDRESSDETAILDIMID
WHERE C.CONSTITUENTLOOKUPID = 'LOOKUPID' 

8. Follow steps 3-4.
9. From the Details sub-tab, enter new information in the County, Region and Congressional district drop downs. 
10. Navigate to Administration > Data Warehouse > Click Start the ETL refresh. 
11. From SSMS, query using the same script from step 8. 
12. Note that the BBDW.DIM_CONSTITUENT.CONSTITUENTADDRESSDIMID is updated in the warehouse, but the associated CONSTITUENTADDRESSDETAILDIMID still references the previous address. The Details database is still referencing the old Details from the previous primary address.
