How do you make a selection in an export for group sales reservations?

 I need to make a query for Group Sales Reservations to show all reservations to export. I have created my export definition, but the export process doesn't give an option to add a new Group Sales Reservation query.
You need to have at least one Group Sales Reservation query saved as a selection in your Information Library in order to have the option to add one new in the export process. 
  1. Go to Analysis and click Information Library
  2. Click Add an ad-hoc query
  3. In the Record Type drop-down, select Reservation
  4. Double-click Group Sales Reservations
  5. Enter any details needed in the query
  6. Select the Set Save Options tab and name your query
  7. Click the checkboxes for "Create a selection?" and "Show this Selection in the Query Designer"
  8. Save and close
Now that you've added a selection for group sales, you should be able to complete the export. 
  1. Go to Administration and click Export
  2. Click Add
  3. In the Export Type box, select Export Definition
  4. Click the magnifying glass in the Selection box and search for the query that you just added
  5. Once you have selected the query, click the magnifying glass for the Export Definition box
  6. Search for and add the export definition that you created
  7. Click Save
NOTE: Now that you have one Group Sales Reservation query saved as a selection in your Information Library, you should have the option to add a new Group Sales Reservation query in the export process without having to create it in the Information Library first.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Administration and click Export
  2. Click Add
  3. In the Export Type box, select Export Definition
  4. Click the magnifying glass in the Selection box to open the search window
  5. Click Add and see that Group Sales Reservation is not an option
