The number of staffing resources changes automatically with my group sales reservation in Altru

While configuring a group sales reservation you may notice that adjusting the visitor count of the reservations causes Altru to reduce the number of staffing resources
Our Product Development team has reviewed this issue, its impact in the software, and the availability of an alternative solution. After careful consideration, we have determined that this issue will not be addressed currently in the Altru software. Product Development will be focusing development resources in other existing areas of the product, as well as new feature development.

Instead, use the steps below to fix the number of staffing resources on your itinerary:
  1. On the reservation record click on the name under manage itineraries
  2. Click on the resources tab
  3. Click the arrow next to the staffing resource and click edit
  4. Adjust the quantity needed back to the original number
  5. Click save

Steps to Duplicate

Add a group Sales Reservation
  1. Click Sales > Group Sales > Add
  2. Add a patron
  3. Add a daily admission in the quick itinerary box and set an arrival time and departure time
  4. Add a visitor type under number of visitors that exist on that admission program and add a count
  5. Click Save
Add a staffing resource to the reservation
  1. Click on the name link that shows under manage itineraries
  2. Click on the Resources Tab > Click add next to staffing resources
  3. Choose a resource and set the quantity needed to a number higher than 2
  4. Give the resource a name and click save
Adjust the Visitor Count 
  1. Click on the name of the Reservation at the top of the screen to return to the home page of the Group sales reservation record
  2. Click the arrow next to the name under manage itineraries > click edit
  3. Adjust the count of the group type to a different number > click save
