Users may encounter the following error when attempting to refund an event registration fee on the Edit Payment Form using Blackbaud Merchant Services : "Data could not be saved. Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding."
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Pay for an event registration fee with a credit card using a BBMS account. 2. Navigate to the revenue record and click "Edit Payment". 3. Change the Amount to $0 and verify that "Refund card on save" is checked off. 4. Click Save and note the timeout error.
