Why are we getting an error when editing an old Grade Plan?

We were trying to clean up old grade plans and received an error message.
We are currently investigating this issue and will update this article when new information arises.

To be able to edit the previous Grade Plans, ensure that all Grade Plan Grades contained within are marked as Active in Academics->Grades->Grading Setup->Grade Plan Grades

Steps to Duplicate

After cleaning up the school's Grade Plan Grades and Grade Plans, grading managers may receive an error message when attempting to edit an old Grade Plan. 
  1. Go to Academics->Grades->Grading Setup.
  2. Select Grade Plan Grades.
  3. Ensure at least one Grade Plan Grade is marked as Inactive.
  4. Select School Year Setup.
  5. Filter on the Grade Plan Group with the inactive Grades.
  6. Click View next to the Grade Plan.
  7. Click Edit.
  8. Receive error.
