If the first person to sign the contract requested split accounts in Smart Tuition, the system will require a second signature. When the first signer has requested split accounts, the account is split and half of the tuition and fees get sent over to Smart Tution. This is why the second person has to sign. The second signature will create the second account in Smart Tuition and send the remaining fees over. 

For any family that has done this, the second signer will need to go through and sign the contract, once they have done so, your Smart Tuition Account Manager will be able to assist you with merging the accounts.
