When sending emails using [Emails > Campaigns], constituent lists that have duplicate emails in them are not deduped. This occurs regardless of "Send a unique email to each constituent who shares the same email address" under [Admistration > Sites & Settings: Email Settings] being unmarked.
We are currently investigating this issue.
As a workaround we suggest using Email > Messages to send emails as it respects the deduping rules.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Create multiple constituent records in The Raiser's Edge - 3 or more that have the same email address. 2. Create query in The Raiser's Edge that pulls those records 3. In NetCommunity, made sure that"Send a unique email to each constituent who shares the same email address" is unmarked under [Administration > Sites & Settings: Email Settings] 4. Create a list from the The Raiser's Edge query in NetCommunity 5. Create an Appeal under [Emails > Campaigns] using that list 6. sent the Appeal 7. You will receive duplicate emails
