In order to remove a duplicate organizational account in Luminate CRM, donations and contacts must be manually moved to the organization you want to keep (the winning record). Then the duplicate (losing record) can be deleted.

When transferring contacts, it is not necessary to move the Org Donor Proxy record. Instead, move all the gifts on the losing Org Donor Proxy record to the winning account's Org Donor Proxy record.

While there is a Salesforce tool to merge accounts, it is not safe to use with the Luminate CRM overlay. Luminate CRM documentation states, "Do not use the Merge Accounts tool in the Tools section of the Accounts page. Using this tool can cause data loss."
