Selection Brief report errors when Imported exclusion selection is used

A Marketing Effort's "Selection Brief" report will display an error when there is an imported Selection in the Exclusions tab of the Marketing Effort. The error is:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Cannot read the next data row for the dataset Exclusions. (rsErrorReadingNextDataRow)
Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier.
Workaround: On the Exclusions tab, in the "Selections to exclude" section, remove all selections that were imported. Replace them with Selections that were created directly with Ad-hoc query. You may have to recreate the Selection with Ad-hoc query. Once all Imported selections are removed and replaced, the  Selection Brief report can be run successfully.

Fix: We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Create a new Marketing Effort,
  2. On the Exclusions tab, in the "Selections to exclude" section, pick a Constituent Selection that is imported.
  3. Optional: pick a random ‘Previous Marketing Effort exclusions’, exclude dead / inactive people, and pick a few solicit codes to exclude.
  4. Then click the “Selection Brief” report on the left side.
  5. See the error
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Cannot read the next data row for the dataset Exclusions. (rsErrorReadingNextDataRow)
Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier.
