In order for the Standardization task to pick up the records and standardize addresses, the fields must be set to standardization pending and needs normalization. When a contact is created in LCRM, it should automatically standardize unless the record was created with an invalid, or incomplete address. In that case, the fields would need to be adjusted in order for the task to pick them up. Modifications to the address of an existing record will not flip those fields automatically; they would need to be set manually.

Alternatively, these fields can be flipped in mass by using the Data Loader. (Note: We provide links to third-party websites in an effort to help you resolve your issue. Here's what the column headers and values would be:

cv_Address_Correction_Status_c = 'Standardization Pending'
cv_Normalization_Status_c = 'Needs Normalization'

If you have set these fields and they are not being standardized in the next couple of minutes, it could be because the standardization task is disabled.
  1. Click the Utilities tab
  2. Next to Contact Standardization, click Run Now to run the task, or click Enable so it runs regularly.
