Membership add ons and number of children field not showing on web form

Number of Children and Additional Member buttons missing from membership web forms. While reviewing your membership web forms you may notice that after clicking on a membership level your additional member buttons do not show on the web forms. Also you may notice that the number of children field may not show on the web form as well.
This can be caused due to the setup of the webforms or the membership program itself. Please try all of the following in order, until the issue is resolved.
 
  • Verify the webforms have responsive formatting turned on:
  1. Click Web > Page Designer
  2. Choose a Responsive Layout
  3. Click Next > Click Next again > Click Submit
 
  • Verify these options are turned on in the membership program: 
  1. Click Memberships > Click the name of the Membership Program
  2. Click Terms and Levels tab
  3. Click Edit
  4. Enter number of children for the level > Click Save
  5. Click Prices tab
  6. Verify there is an add-on listed here. If not, click Add to add one. 
  • Verify there are not any hard returns or special characters in the description fields for the membership program: 
  1. Click Prices Tab
  2. Click Arrow next to Add-on
  3. Click Edit
  4. Copy Description out and paste in text editor like Notepad
  5. Remove any special characters (like any enters/hard returns or quotation marks)
  6. Copy and paste the description back into the field in Altru
  7. Click Save 
  8. Click General Tab > Click Edit > Follow Steps 4-7
  9. Click Terms and Levels tab > Click Edit > Follow Steps 4-7

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Click Web > Manage Membership forms
  2. Click the arrow next to the Membership name
  3. Click on the Web form URL
  4. Choose the level that allows for children or additional members
  5. Notice the fields/button are missing at the bottom of the web form
