Error: Access denied (Authorization failed (7512)) when attempting to connect via ODBC connection

I set up and can access the ODBC connection but when I finish the MS Excel query I receive “Access denied (Authorization failed (7512) message.
 
With this error it's a rights issue, the user you are using for the ODBC connection doesn't have the necessary rights.

Try using the following when the ODBC connection attempts to connect:
User ID:    sysprogress
Password: sysprogress
