If you encounter an error stating that the external document you are trying to open is corrupt, it may have been corrupt before it was sent to you. 

We can always confirm this for you if you contact Blackbaud Customer Support with the Document ID number and as much detail as you can. With this information, we can determine if the files themselves are corrupted.
