Fee is not being added to Online Express Bill Pay transactions

When making a Payment for Student Billing  in Online Express Bill Pay, payments may not have the convenience fee added to the the Transaction amount, or the Fee is not being deducted from the transaction amount. 
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.  If you are experiencing this issue, click Chat with Support, reference this article, and provide the following information so we can assist you:
  • The Specific Charge that was added missing the Fee 
  • The Name of the Payer that made the Payment 
  • The name of the Student that this payment was made for 
  • Screenshot of the Attributes tab
  • Screenshot of the convenience fee setup for Online Express Bill Pay
  • Backup copy of Database 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Make a payment through Online Express Bill Pay for student
  2. Login to Student Billing
  3. Navigate to Online Express Bill Pay
  4. Mark the checkboxes under Select for each payment that should be processed.
  5. Select to Add
  6. Click to Continue to Fast!
  7. Click Commit Records.
  8. Navigate to Records> Students
  9. Lookup student  that payment was completed for
  10. Click Attributes tab

You can also verify this by logging in to BBMS, and verifying the total amount of the Transctions.
