When I create a correspondence letter, I can see evidence of it in the Documents tab, but not in the Activities section. Why does it not track the Activity and how can I turn this on to track it once more?
If your correspondence messages are not tracking as Activity records, then you must be sure the option 'Create Activity Record' is checked off when creating correspondence.
If this is NOT checked, you will not track an Activity. If it is, you will be all set.
Checking this off needs to only happen once and it will remain turned on for your account.
