Error: User not authorised to run this export when previewing a Custom Report

When running a custom report, users may experience the following error message: User not authorised to run this report. 

This occurs when the export chosen in the Select Export field cannot be run by other users or the current user does not have rights to the Export module. 
  1. Check current user has rights to Export Module in Admin > Security.
  2. If they do, open relevant Export as either Supervisor or the user who created it.
  3. Click Tools > Export Options.
  4. Check "Other users may run this export" is marked, if not, do so.
  5. Click OK > Save and Close export.
