Verify that the most current version of Blackbaud Web Services is installed.

If the issue is not resolved, perform the following steps.  
  1. Determine the file location of the Blackbaud Web Services folder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Blackbaud)
  2. Uninstall Blackbaud Web Services (it should only be installed in one location, usually the server)
    1. Log into The Raiser's Edge and click on Web Services from the navigation bar
    2. Under Installed Services, click the link for Blackbaud Web Services
    3. Click the Uninstall Service link at the top of the Configuration Options window
    4. Mark the checkbox to Deactivate this database.  Note:  This will generate a new GUID that will need to be provided to Support to update your Service Bus configuration, which is required for the RELO Integration to work.
    5. Click Uninstall
  3. Verify that the Web Services folder has been completely removed from the file location.  If it has not, rename it to Web Services_old
  4. Reinstall Blackbaud Web Services  Note: We recommend installing the Blackbaud Web Services on a machine with 24/7 internet access, preferably a server meeting the system requirements for the Raiser’s Edge/Luminate Online integration located on page 4 of the system requirements guide for The Raiser’s Edge.
    1. Log into The Raiser's Edge
    2. Click on Web Services in the navigation bar
    3. Look for the Blackbaud Web Services in the list
    4. If the Install Update link is active (blue) next to Blackbaud Web Services, click the link to install any applicable updates available
    5. Click the Blackbaud Web Services link
    6. If available, click Install Service at the top of the new window
    7. Choose the default location to install the Blackbaud Web Services
    8. Once Web Services is running, click on the Luminate Online link
    9. Click Activate
    10. Enter in your Site ID and Email address
    11. Click Confirm to complete the validation and installation
  5. Locate the updated GUID
    1. Log into Raiser's Edge, Luminate Online plugin
    2. Click on the Options button
    3. Click on the About link
    4. The GUID is the alphanumeric string that appears at the end of the Web Service URL
      • Example: 
  6. Click Chat with Support to provide the updated GUID, so the Service Bus Configuration can be updated. Important: the RELO Integration will not work without performing this last step.
