Event Registration Batch populates each line of multiple registration on Event tab in Constituent record

When a user makes a multiple person registration online and the multi-person registration for an event is brought into CRM, via an OOB Event Registration Batch and is committed, the Constituent record shows each line of the registration separately as opposed to cumulatively.
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Administration
  2. Click Batch
  3. Click Batch Entry
  4. Click Add
  5. Select Event Registration Batch Basic from the drop down and click Save
  6. Open the freshly created Batch
  7. Populate the Batch with a Constituent and Event
  8. Enter any number other than one in the Quantity column
  9. Under Guests column select Unnamed guest for each guest
  10. Save and Commit the Batch
  11. Navigate to the Event tab on the Constituent record
  12. Notice each guest is an individual line
