Error : The INSERT statement conflicted with FOREIGN KEY constraint FK_ALTERNATELOOKUPID_ALTERNATELOOKUPIDTYPECODEID. The conflict occurred in database XXXXX, table dbo.ALTERNATELOOKUPIDTYPECODE, column ID.

Users may encounter the following error : The INSERT statement conflicted with FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_ALTERNATELOOKUPID_ALTERNATELOOKUPIDTYPECODEID". The conflict occurred in database "XXXXX", table "dbo.ALTERNATELOOKUPIDTYPECODE", column 'ID' when running the Merge Two Constituents process.
This error is caused by the Constituent Merge Configuration not being completely setup.
1) Navigate to Constituents > Duplicates > Constituent Merge > Merge Configurations (tab)
2) Open the merge configuration that is generating the issue for editing.
3) Scroll down to Lookup ID in the Merge Tasks pane and click on it.
4) Verify that the Alternate Lookup ID Type field is filled out and save.
5) Run the Merge Two Constituents Process again and confirm if it completes properly.
