Total Wages paid on the VEC-FC-21 state quarterly form is less than the adjusted gross wage for an employee

On the Virginia VEC quarterly form, the total wages paid for a specific employee is less than the gross wage on the adjusted gross wage report.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

Compare the total wages paid for an employee to the Adjusted Gross Wage Report for the same quarter, notice how the wage is less on the Virginia VEC quarterly form.

In Payroll:
1. In Records, Employees, open affected employee record,
2. On the Activity tab, Open the payroll calculation for period end 4/28/17, pay date of 5/5/2017
Notice the Pay type ID for the amount that is not subject to taxes for $17.55, this is the same amount that is the difference in total wages on VA VEC form
