When items are submitted in Web Portal, an email is sent to the approver to notify them that there is an item to be approved. The email contains a link that directs the user to the item in Web Portal. If the link in this email comes through as text, you will need to change the settings in WebPortal Configuration Tool to allow HTML emails.
Open the WebPortal Configuration Tool
Select the email section
Mark the box to Include HTML in Emails
