My Discount does not work correctly

When using a with required purchase discount you may notice that it applies correctly for some situations but not others. For example, a discount that applies allows 2 children in for free with purchase of 1 adult ticket may not work correctly with 2 adults and 4 children when the discount is set to apply twice
This issue has been resolved in version 4.99. All sites have been updated in February 2018. If you experience this error, please chat with support to provide the exact steps that were taken.

Steps to Duplicate

Create the Discount
  1. Click Tickets > Ticket and Merchandise Discounts > add
  2. Choose the with required purchase option
  3. Change selected for use to Manually and give the discount a name
  4. Click on the Purchase Details tab
  5. In the purchase these items column: Change the item type to tickets, quantity at full price to 1, and price type to adult
  6. In the Get discount on these items column: change the item type to tickets, change the quantity discounted to specific quantity of 2, change the calculation type to percent off
  7. Add the child price type with a value of 100
  8. Mark limit the number of times this discount may be applied and change the number to 2
  9. Click save
Apply the Discount in Daily Sales
  1. Click Sales > Daily sales
  2. Click on the adult ticket button twice
  3. Click on the child ticket button 3 times
  4. Click on the Discount and promotions button
  5. Choose the discount
  6. Click save
