After Globally adding records to batch with Solicitor Names must enter amount to apply

After Globally adding Constituents to a batch through either a Global add or using an import tool like ImportOmatic, if the batch is populated with the field Solicitor Names for the gifts, when trying to commit the batch, you must enter the amount to credit each solicitor.  This did not happen in RE 7.96.6401.5  This started with 7.96.6401.6
This is resolved in patch 7 and higher, released in fall to winter 2017-2018 and applied to databases in Blackbaud Hosting Services. If your database is installed locally, download and install the latest version and patch, if applicable.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Create Constituent Query
2. Assigned Solicitor name contains German (Ben German) as criteria
3. Save the query
4. Go to Batch>New Gift Batch
5. Go to the Fields tab and Add Solicitor Names to the batch
6. Go to Defaults tab, include all defaults including the Solicitor Ben German
7. Click Save and Data Entry
8. Go into the Batch>Tools>Add Constituent to Batch and locate query above
9. Click the commit button and prompted for amount to apply to solicitor for each row within the batch

test with the same steps in RE 7.96.6401.5 and the issue does not occur.
