I scheduled a special event in same location being used for a custom item in a group reservation. I was allowed to do this and was not notified of the conflict.
Our Product Development team has reviewed this issue, its impact in the software, and the availability of an alternative solution. After careful consideration, we have determined that this issue will not be addressed currently in the Altru software. Product Development will be focusing development resources in other existing areas of the product, as well as new feature development.
Steps to Duplicate
Sales > Group Sales > Add
Enter a patron and reservation name
Add a price type and count and Save
Click the itinerary name
Click Add > Custom Item
Enter a name, time, and location
Check “Mark location unavailable to other groups” and Save
Go to Events > Add New > Special Event
Enter a name, the same time and location as the custom item
