When families fall in the Fix These Families folder, it is because the system is recognizing that the account or accounts contain identical information of a family that is already Active.

Below are some examples, but not limited to, why some families will fall in the Fix These Families folder:
  • The account is truly a duplicate to an active account. 
  • This is the second account a parent wants to set up for themselves that is separate from the other parent's account but their address, email, or phone numbers are the same. 
  • The school is using either the school address or the same address for multiple international students and there are various accounts set up for them.  
If the account is not a duplicate, only Smart Tuition can do an override and remove these families out of the Fix These Families folder.  How do I contact Blackbaud Smart Tuition?
