I have my parents do online enrollment. What do my parents see when I direct my parents to the enrollwithsmart.com website?
When parents first log in to the enrollwithsmart.com, there is this white pop up box that appears.
If they are a returning parent, they will need to enter their username and password to proceed. If they are a new family who has not had a previous Smart account, then they will need to click on the blue box that says Create a New Account.
1. For returning parents:
a) They must enter their username and password on the required fields and then click on the green Login box.
b) After clicking on Login, this white pop up box will appear and the parent is informed that based on the credentials (username and password) they provided, their account in the previous school year was located and if this is the school that they would like to enroll in. If it is correct, the parent can click on the green Continue box.
c) The parent will be taken to the first page of the enrollment site. The school name will be indicated on the page as well as the school year the parent is now currently enrolling into. All their previous school year's information is already pre-filled in the boxes. The parent needs to verify the information listed or they can update any necessary information as needed before proceeding to the next page by clicking on the green circular button on the bottom right corner of the page.
d) The second page has the pre-filled information of the students from the previous school year. If the school allows for the parents to be able to add more students on their account, then the parents should be able to see the +Add Another Student.
e) The third page is where the parent will choose the payment plan they want to be on, their payment method and their preferred due date if the school provides these options to the parents.
f) The fourth page is the payment page. If your school requires your families to make registration payment or any other types of payments before enrolling, the below page will itemize the payments they need to make and will require a credit card or checking/savings account information before they are able to proceed to the last confirmation page. It is in this page as well that parents can enter coupon codes if the school does have coupon codes for parents to apply to their accounts.
g) The last page is the confirmation page where the parent has the chance to review their entry before clicking on the green Submit Enrollment button.
h) After the parent clicks on the green Submit Enrollment button they will see this Registration Application Successful page and their account can now be found in the Parent Registration folder where the school administrator can now proceed with completing their enrollment for the upcoming school year.
2. For new registering families:
a) For parents without any previous Blackbaud Smart Account with the school must click on the Create a New Account button.
b) You must make sure the parents are given the five (5) digit Blackbaud Smart Tuition School ID. Enter the ID on the search bar below.
c) If the correct school ID is entered, the name of the school will appear on the drop down list.
d) Once the correct school is chosen, the parent will be brought to the first page of the registration process. Every time a parent is done with each page, parent must click on the green circular button to be taken to the next page. Parent will have to fill in all the necessary information on each page until the confirmation page.
e) After the parent clicks on the green Submit Enrollment button they will see this Registration Application Successful page and their account can now be found in the Parent Registration folder where the school administrator can now proceed with completing their enrollment for the upcoming school year.
