Yes, a school can create up to 12 custom questions in Smart Aid. There are four question types (single input, drop down, free response, mulit-choice) and the text of the questions are open to customization by the school. All questions created will appear in the Special Circumstance sections of the application, and the questions will appear in the order in which they are entered by the school. Questions can be altered, added, or deleted at any time, however please be aware that altering the questions once applications are being processed will result in different questions or sets of questions on different applications. For further assistance, we also provide a link at the top of the page, in blue, called Common Custom Questions that provides some examples of questions commonly asked by schools. Feel free to use these verbatim, re-word them, or as brainstorming while considering what you may want to ask.
