"You have been signed out" after logging in and authorizing the Budget Creator Excel Add on for FE NXT

When using the Budget Creator Add On in Excel for FE NXT, a user may attempt to sign in and then authorize the add on when prompted. Immediately after clicking authorize, a user may be logged out.
NOTE: The optional module Budget Management must be unlocked to utilize the Excel Budget Add-On

This issue may arise when the user attempting to use the Budget Add-In does not have view rights for fiscal years. By design, if a user does not at least have view rights to both budgets and fiscal years, they are immediately signed out of the Budget Add-In because these are required in order to create a budget within the Add-In.

Ensure the security group has view rights to Fiscal Years and Budgets:

1. In Database view > General Ledger > Administration > Setup System Security > open the user's security group
2. On the Group Privileges tab, highlight General Ledger
3. Under General Ledger Privileges, ensure Configuration is marked, and then click Options
4. Ensure Fiscal years is marked, and on the right, at least view is marked > Click Ok
5. Under General Ledger Privileges, ensure Records is marked, and then click Options
6. Ensure Budget Scenarios is marked, and on the right, at least view is marked.
7. Click Ok > Save and close the group
8. Have the user(s) select File > Exit and sign out and sign back in for changes to take effect.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Open Excel
2. Start the FE Budget Creator app
3. Click to Sign In in the Welcome window
4. Enter email and password
5. It appears to successfully login and it prompts to authorize access to the NXT database > Click authorize
6. Message displays: "You have been signed out"
