Reprinting Receipts in Mail does not update Receipt information

Users report when working in Mail>Reprint Receipts and running the parameter file there is no prompt to update the receipt on the gift record. After previewing, printing, or exporting the gift records have no option to update the gift record and gift history with the new receipt number, date, or other updated information.
 
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Alternate workaround
1. Navigate directly to the gift record
2. Select gift from the menu bar and select Reprint Receipt
3. Select the appropriate receipt action, mail parameter and additional information
4. Click Preview

Steps to Duplicate

1. Change database to Canada
2. Open constituent record
3. Click Gift
4. Click New Gift
5. Make sure the gift has a receipt stack and all other required fields filled in.
6. Click Mail>Receipts
7. Click New
8. Change Receipt stack to the receipt stack on the gift
9. Change the date for the date of the gift created.
10. Click Preview
11. Close report
12. Mark Yes on the message to receipt the gift.
13. Close the parameter file.
14. Click Mail>Reprint Receipts
15. Click New
16. Change Receipt stack to the receipt stack on the gift
17. Change the date for the date of the gift created.
18. Click Preview
19. Close the report.
20. There should be a message here to allow us to update receipt information
