You can use the Process Date merge field in your acknowledgement letter to pull the current date from the day you process the acknowledgement
  1. Go to Marketing and Communications > Acknowledgements
  2. Click the drop-down arrows next to your letter and click Edit
  3. In the "Select recipient information to use to personalize your letter" section, click Edit next to Merge Fields
  4. Click to highlight the Process Date field in the middle column, then click the right arrow to move it into Selected Fields
  5. Click Save and Close
  6. In the "Write your letter's content" section, click Edit
  7. Click where you would like the date and click the Merge Fields drop-down
  8. Select Process Date from the list and you will see the merge field in your letter
  9. Click OK
  10. Click Next, then Finish and Close
