No exceptions are thrown during the import or batch commitment when importing duplicate segments to a marketing effort

When using a Marketing Effort import to add segments to a marketing effort, you might notice that no exceptions are thrown during the import process or the batch commitment even when duplicate test segments are added to the same segment.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack. 

Steps to Duplicate

1) Create an import file where the same test segment is specified on multiple lines to be added to the same segment.
2) Import the file and notice there are no exceptions.
3) Validate and commit the batch and notice that there are no exceptions.
4) Open the marketing effort and notice that the duplicate test segments are missing from the effort.
