Within FAWeb teacher have the ability to send emails to Students and Student relationship through the NetMail Module. In some cases, there may be Faculty that are also parents, that will not be included in the emails sent to Student Relationships.
With the NetMail Module unlocked, teachers can send emails to students and Student Relationships.
Even though FAWeb says Student Relationships, it is only looking at the Record Type of Individual for creating the export on the backend of the system to create the email list.
If a Faculty member is also a Student Relationship, the record may be excluded if the only record for this Faculty is a Faculty record.
To resolve this, and include those Faculty who are also parents of students, you will need to create an individual record and link the NEW record to the Existing Faculty Record as Self. Then to the Student record with the appropriate Relationship.
This practice is not recommended for ALL Faculty Records, just for those that are not receiving emails as the duplicate records run the chance of cluttering up the database, and making data entry inconsistent
