In some rare situations, a communication error can occur resulting in a donor successfully being charged for a donation and the transaction appearing in BBMS, but is not present in Luminate Online. In these instances, an Admin can opt to refund the transaction directly with BBMS and have the donor re-do the donation from scratch, or manually enter an offline cash gift in Luminate Online.

To refund the transaction directly in BBMS

To enter an offline cash gift in Luminate Online:
  1. Ensure that the donation form is configured as an Offline Donation Form
  2. Ensure that the donation form is configured to accept cash donations
  3. Record an offline cash donation
