Email Message Search does not handle multiple wildcards in v4

When searching for emails, in CRM 4.0, using the email search task, the search does not handle multiple wildcard searching. Marketing & Communications > Packages > Email Marketing > Email Search , the search does not handle multiple wildcard searching. This function worked in version 3.0.

 
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.

Steps to Duplicate

Create a new email called the quick brown fox

1) Go to Marketing & Communications > Packages > Email Marketing > Email search
2) Search for th%bro%f% 
3) Notice no results are returned. (The use of multiple wildcards will fail to return results no matter the content)

4) Try to search using only one wildcard and it will return results if matched.

In CRM V3 you can use th%bro%f% and get the result.
IN CRM V4, it will only allow one wildcard or results will fail to return.

 Blackbaud CRM
 4.0
 4.0 SP 14
