Link provided in Email from Task reminder email alert produces error "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

The email received from a task reminder alert contains a link, when you click on the link it takes you to a page that contains the error "The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable"
Review the application url root in email alert settings by:

1. Go to administration, email alerts, edit alert settings.
2. Ensure that the url is set to https://domain/virtual directory (as opposed to https://domain/virtual directory/Appfxwebservice.asmx)

Steps to Duplicate

1. Login to BBCRM.
2. Go to the Event functional area.
3. Create an event by clicking the Add new button and selecting event
4. After Creating the Event, which needs to be today date to send the task reminder email alert, create a task on the task tab, by clicking the add task.
5. Fill out the appropriate fields and make yourself the owner of the task, date it for today.
6. Go to the Administration functional area.
7. Click Email alerts.
8. Click Task reminder alert.
9. Make sure your user is configured for the task reminder alert to receive email notifications.
10. Click Start send process on the top left hand side.
11. Review the email that is received after the process completes.
12. Click the link in the email.
13.  Note the error: The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
