We have a TeamRaiser with a participant type that is configured with a tax deductible amount. What happens to that when I add a discount to it?
If an event is configured for a Ticket Type with a Tax Deductible amount as well as a Discount Code, the user will be charged the price of the ticket minus the discount, and the Transaction Summary will display the full Tax Deductible Value as is configured on the Ticket Type. In some cases the discount amount can reduce the total amount charged to be less than the tax deductible amount. We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
