Error: An unknown error occurred during the request. This could indicate a request to an invalid endpoint or a problem with the web server configuration when using files.blackbaudhosting.com as an SFTP import source

When using files.blackbaudhosting.com as an SFTP location for an import source in Blackbaud CRM, the following error may occur and/or the folder structure will not load: Error: An unknown error occurred during the request. This could indicate a request to an invalid endpoint or a problem with the web server configuration.
This is not possible due to the configuration of the files folder in the Hosted environment. Please set up and use an SFTP location outside of the Hosted environment for use with Blackbaud CRM. 

Steps to Duplicate

1. Navigate to Administration and select Import.
2. Under 'Configuration' select 'Configure import sources'.
3. Click 'Add SFTP server'. 
4. Enter a name, URL as files.blackbaudhosting.com, and a username and password with access to the SFTP folder. 
5. Click 'Test connection' to ensure that the account has access.
6. Save the SFTP import source.
7. Use FileZilla to connect to the SFTP folder and add a sub directory within the root of the folder. Also add a few files to both the root and the sub folder.
8. Navigate to Administration and select Import.
9. Add a new import process and choose any batch template.
10. On the 'Add import process' screen, click the drop-down next to 'Import source' and select the SFTP import source that was set up in steps 3-6.
11. Click on the folder icon next to 'Subdirectory'. Notice that the 'Loading...' screen now comes up and spins until the following error occurs OR the loading screen just goes away and doesn't open the folder directory: An unknown error occurred during the request. This could indicate a request to an invalid endpoint or a problem with the web server configuration.
12. This same issue also occurs if you just click the drop-down in the 'File' field.
