I created a query in The Raiser's Edge with the intent of sending an email to the household from Online Express. If the constituent does not have an email address, but the non-constituent spouse does, then the email goes to the non-constituent spouse record. After the email has been sent I then go to View Stats and click Add this data to RE. I notice that the appeal is added to the constituent when the email is actually sent to the constituent record, but not when the email was sent to the non-constituent relationship.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
Steps to Duplicate
After sending an email in Online Express click View Stats Click Add this data to RE Navigate back to the database view and look up a constituent where the email was sent to the non-constituent relationship Click on the Appeals tab There is no appeal that was just sent
