When working in the NAMEFORMAT table, one may notice the DATECHANGED field is not updated when the FORMATTEDNAME field value is changed.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.
Steps to Duplicate
1. In SSMS, run the following query against your CRM instance: select * from nameformat where id = '[insert ID value]' 2. In the results of the query, make note of the value in the FORMATTEDNAME field and the DATECHANGED field. 3. In CRM, navigate to the constituent record associated with the ID used in the query in step 1. 4. On the constituent record, navigate to Personal Info > Personal subtab. 5. In the Personal information section, click Edit. The Edit personal information window pops up. 6. In the Edit personal information window, change the Title of the constituent and click Save. 7. Run the query in step 1 again. See the value in the FORMATTEDNAME field has changed but the DATECHANGED value remains the same.
