Error: Data could not be saved. The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_RELATIONSHIP_RECIPROCALCONSTITUENTID". The conflict occurred in database "[database]", table "dbo.RELATIONSHIP", column 'RECIPROCALCONSTITUENTID'.

When using the Merge two constituents functionality, one may encounter the following error:

Data could not be saved. The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_RELATIONSHIP_RECIPROCALCONSTITUENTID". The conflict occurred in database "[database]", table "dbo.RELATIONSHIP", column 'RECIPROCALCONSTITUENTID'.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack. 

Steps to Duplicate

1.   Navigate to Constituents > Duplicates > Merge two constituents.
2.   In the Merge two constituents window, enter your Source Constituent, Target Constituent, Merger configuration, and select the Delete or Mark inactive button.
3.   Click Merge. Receive error: Data could not be saved. The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_RELATIONSHIP_RECIPROCALCONSTITUENTID". The conflict occurred in database "[database]", table "dbo.RELATIONSHIP", column 'RECIPROCALCONSTITUENTID'.
