Why are the Commit batches if they have no batch exceptions and Commit all valid rows from new batches options grayed out on my import process?

Users may find when creating or editing an import process that the options for "Commit batches if they have no batch exceptions" and "Commit all valid rows from new batches options" are grayed out.
These options will be grayed out if the batch template that the import is based on utilizes a workflow that does not allow committing of the batch on the initial step. To confirm if this is the case :

1. Note the name of the batch template being used by the import on the "Configure Import File" tab of the import.
2. Navigate to Administration > Batch > Batch Entry > Batch Templates and click edit on the batch template from step 1.
3. Click on the "Confirm and Save" tab of the batch template and note the name of the workflow in use in the "General Information" section.
4. Navigate to Administration > Batch > Batch Entry > Batch Workflows > click on the workflow name.
5. In the "Step 1" section, locate the step that is flagged as "Is initial status"
6. The step that is flagged as "Is initial status" will also need to be flagged as "Allow Commit" in order for the "Commit batches if they have no batch exceptions" and "Commit all valid rows from new batches options" to be available.
7. Edit the initial step and mark "Allow batch to be committed when in this status" if desired.
