Recurring gift with split designations does not allow you to edit only one of the designations despite appearing otherwise in a Transaction Manager part

When attempting to edit the amount given to one designation in a split recurring gift on the Transaction Manager part, the edited amount is split over all designations.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack. 

Steps to Duplicate

1.   In CRM, navigate to the recurring gift in question. Note that the recurring gift is split between two or more designations.
2.   Navigate to your BBIS page containing your Transaction Manager part.
3.   See the recurring gift from step 1 and note there is a "+" button beside each designation of the split gift. This seems to indicate one can edit the amount applied to a specific designation.
4.   Select one of the designations to edit and click the "+" button. Click Edit gift details.
5.   In the Edit gift details window, increase the gift amount to any amount you desire. Click Save. See the amount you entered is then split between all designations.
